Connect your colleges.
Unlock your region’s talent.

One regional front door to help people discover colleges, programs and courses that recognize what they already know.

  • Discover matches in minutes
  • One front door, many colleges
  • AI accelerates, humans decide

What people have learned should count — however & wherever they learned it.

Adult learners, workers and veterans bring valuable learning with them. Gateway meets them earlier, with a clearer view of what may count — and connects them to the colleges that can help them finish what they started.

From challenge to outcome

Talent is already in your region.

Learners“Where do I even begin?”

Start with experience, not a catalogue. A résumé, transcripts or training records become the starting point for discovering programs and possible credit.

CollegesQualified learners stay invisible.

Turn hidden skills into qualified leads. Learners who choose a pathway are routed directly to the participating institution they select.

RegionsEvery institution works in a silo.

One front door, many colleges. Programs, courses and credit options across the region, discovered in one place — without asking any college to give up control.

How Gateway works

Start here. Go anywhere.

Learners don’t need to know which program to search for. Their existing experience becomes the starting point for discovering what comes next.

1

Share experience

Upload a résumé and, when relevant, transcripts, certifications or training records.

2

Discover matches

Explore relevant colleges, programs and courses across the participating region.

3

Choose a pathway

Select potential credit for prior learning or transfer credit opportunities for formal review.

4

Connect to a college

The selected institution receives the application, reviews the evidence and makes its own academic and admissions decisions.

Who Gateway is for

Built for leaders & learners.

For regional leaders

Sponsor a Gateway as a college system, regional consortium, state, province or government partner.

  • Grow enrolment with learners your colleges can’t see today
  • Connect hidden skills to workforce opportunity
  • Keep every college’s policies and final decisions intact

For individuals

Start with what you already know — work, military service, trades or prior study.

  • Mid-career workers looking for a new direction
  • Military veterans translating service into credentials
  • Transfer students whose credits deserve to travel further
One front door for the whole region — so learners don’t need to know every institution before they begin.

Human-led by design

Gateway personalizes paths to colleges. ArchieCPL organizes data. College staff award credit.

ArchieCPL®

Credit for prior learning, organized for review. Evidence is mapped against course outcomes so staff can decide faster — and learners can see what may count before they apply.

Eddie / Ed-T®

Transfer credit, without the repeated reviews. Approved equivalencies and precedent data help learners see likely matches while staff keep the final say.

A common skills language

One taxonomy, many pathways. Experience from work, service, trades and prior education is translated into competencies and learning outcomes every college in the region can work from.

Questions

What leaders ask first.

What is a Regional Credit Mobility Gateway?

A shared, region-wide discovery experience where prospective students explore participating institutions, programs, courses and potential credit for prior learning or transfer credit matches based on prior experience and study.

Does Gateway award academic credit automatically?

No. Gateway highlights possible matches and routes selected applications to participating colleges. Each institution administers its own reviews and makes all final academic credit and admissions decisions.

Do participating colleges need to change their policies?

No. The model preserves each institution’s policies, thresholds and review authority. Implementation scope and data-sharing arrangements are agreed with participating institutions.

How does Gateway differ from a course catalogue?

Rather than asking learners to know which institution or course to search for, Gateway begins with what they already know and helps them discover plausible pathways across a defined region.
