What is Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)?
Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is a formal process colleges use to grant academic credit for knowledge and skills a person has already gained outside the classroom — through work, life experience, military service, professional training or industry certifications.
Instead of repeating what they already know, learners can have that learning assessed and converted into real course credit, saving time and tuition. It's also known as PLA or PLAR.
Assessing that credit by hand is slow and inconsistent. ArchieCPL automates that work, making CPL faster and easier to manage, with your staff in control of every decision.
